Whitemud Development has been created so small businesses, beginning entrepreneurs and the local citizens within the member municipalities can receive professional assistance. Our offices provide a wide range of technical advice, from putting the finishing touches on your business plan, to helping you with new ideas for your existing business to ensure it remains profitable and viable. We offer groups and organizations support in getting projects ( and often new organizations) started, and ensure that the proponents have a good operational structure and sound business plan from which they can develop their proposals.

Community leaders from across the Southwest gathered in Shaunavon to participate in the official grand opening of the Whitemud Economic Development Co-operative.

Officials, including Cypress Hills-Grasslands MP David Anderson and Cypress Hills MLA Wayne Elhard, crowded into the Centre Street office on Wednesday to celebrate the establishment of the Southwest economic development group.
